BERG’s work is supported by regular grant funding from Melbourne Water, and from the Commonwealth Government, most recently through Caring for our Country grants. We also receive Commonwealth funding towards administration and training through the Grants to Voluntary Environment and Heritage Organisations (GVEHO) program. We receive occasional grants from other sources, including Esso and the State Department of Sustainability and Environment.
Mornington Peninsula Shire Council has for many years provided funding through an annual Memorandum of Understanding, as well as providing substantial in-kind assistance in BERG’s work.
BERG also receives many generous donations from members, which fund a wide range of items and services not covered by our grants.
